Terms of Use
Last updated: 7 October 2026
These terms apply when you use the aiGroWise app and website (the "service"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
The service
aiGroWise helps you keep a journal of the plants you grow: stages, measurements, photos, costs, climate readings and optional AI-assisted suggestions. The service is operated by an independent developer based in Spain. We may add, change or remove features over time.
Who can use it
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if that is higher. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, since it is how you sign in.
Following local law
Laws about what plants you may grow, and how many, differ between countries and regions. You alone are responsible for making sure that what you grow and record complies with the laws where you live. The service does not encourage or authorise any illegal activity, and nothing in it is a statement that any activity is legal where you are.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the service for anything illegal, or to promote or arrange the sale of controlled or illegal products;
- upload content that you do not have the right to share, or that is unlawful, abusive, sexual or violent;
- try to access other people's accounts or data, or get around security, rate or usage limits;
- disrupt, overload, scrape or reverse-engineer the service, or use automated means to create accounts;
- use the AI features to generate content that breaks these terms or the AI provider's usage policies.
Your content
You keep ownership of everything you add to the service, including text, data and photos. You give us a limited licence to store, copy, process and display that content only as needed to run the service for you and the people you share a grow with, including sending it to our AI provider when you use an AI feature. This licence ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in backups, which expire on their own.
When you share a grow, other members can see and edit its content. Entries you add to a shared grow stay part of that grow if you leave or delete your account.
AI suggestions are not professional advice
AI features generate suggestions automatically. They can be incomplete, out of date or simply wrong, including when diagnosing a plant from a photo. AI output is for general information only and is not professional, agricultural, medical or legal advice. Check important decisions with a reliable source and use your own judgement. We are not responsible for losses that result from relying on AI output.
Availability and limits
We work to keep the service running, but it is provided "as is" and may sometimes be unavailable, interrupted or lose data. Keep your own copies of anything important. Some features have usage limits, such as a daily number of AI requests or storage space per grow.
Ending your account
You can stop using the service and delete your account in the app at any time (see the Privacy Policy for what is deleted). We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, or where the law requires it. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you the chance to export your data.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost crops, lost profits or lost data, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim (or EUR 50 if you paid nothing). Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any rights you have as a consumer that cannot be waived under the law of your country.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, tell you in the app before they take effect. If you keep using the service after that, the new terms apply.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. If you are a consumer living in another country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of that country and may bring a claim in its courts. EU consumers can also use the EU's online dispute resolution information at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu.
